About St. Michaels

The Town of St. Michaels with its one-of-a-kind shops, great restaurants and historic harbor attracts visitors from around the world, but for Rio Vista residents, it is just next door. The town is the center for several festivals and parades every year, including the Wine Festival, Running Festival, Watermen’s Appreciation Day at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and Christmas in St. Michaels with its Santa Claus Parade and the popular tour of village and country homes. St. Mary’s Square, with its small, but important museum, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and the St. Michaels Nature Trail are all an easy walk or bike ride away. St. Michaels is a town for all seasons.
