The Rio Vista Community Association (RVCA) welcomes you to our neighborhood! Neighbors here are friendly and welcoming!  You will find that Rio Vista is a safe and beautiful place to live – not to mention very convenient to the town of St. Michaels, Tilghman Island and the town of Easton.

There are many amenities that property owners, and you as a renter, have access to including: the community areas (dock and picnic areas). RVCA property owners (your landlord) pay mandatory annual fees for these amenities. If you have a boat, you may rent a slip (see the Dock information about access limitations). The picnic area is a great place to enjoy the Miles River “Vista,” fishing or a lunch to watch the sailboats, log canoe races and workboats (in season). There are certain rules we ask you keep in mind while you enjoy so that we can  keep the areas clean and safe.

The annual fees also include other amenities including the Neighborhood Watch and the Nav-Light (quarterly newsletter). A Block Captain will be your local connection and help answer questions about the neighborhood.  Neighborhood Watch also includes email (or SMS if you consent for that option) Emergency and Community messaging to keep you informed about everything from lost pets, persons or other critically important topics. 

The Nav-Light is a quarterly newsletter that provides information from the Board of Governors about the neighborhood as well as topics of general interest. This is delivered only by email.
